1991, Ipar Amerika. Birus batek txakur eta katu guztiak hil ondoren, tximinoak etxeko animalia berriak bilakatu dira. Halere, tximino hauek esklabo gisa erabiliak izango dira. Hogei urtez guzti honetatik at, Zira eta Corneliusen semea den Armandok (Ricardo Montalban) gizakiek beretarrei eman dien tratu txarraz ohartuko da.
