Patxo Telleria aldatu

Francisco de Sales “Patxo” Telleria (born July 22, 1960) in Bilbao. He studied pedagogy at the University of Deusto. Furthermore, he studied Basque Philology at the University of the Basque Country. He began acting at the age of 20 and he has not stopped since then. Apart from being an actor he is also a playwriter, such as, in Ez Dok Hiru Bikoteatroa (2017). The brand new play he has written is called MUNDUBIRA (2019). [1]

Apart from being a playwriter, he is also a scriptwriter. He has worked in Operacion Concha (2017) and Soinujolearen semea (2018) films. When he was young he began working as an actor and he played in Lauaxeta, A los cuatro vientos (1987) and 27 hours (1986). All these projects have brought him recognition and prizes. No one would dispute his fame and recognition as he was the city crier of Bilbao’s “Aste Nagusia” (Bilbao’s city fair) in 2016. As it was expected, his speech was funny and original. Five years ago he won the prize to the Best Interpretation in Lingua Nabajorum. With this play, he also won the prize MAX Saria to the Best basque author in 2013. [2]
