International Writing Contest aldatu
Hello everybody, In Berlin at Dezember 2004 there was the critique that there is not enough connection in the work of all the different Wikipedias in their different languages. I think, that an internationally linked writing contest should be one possible chance to cooperate and work together. At March 1st there will be the start of the second writing contest in the german Wikipedia so I thought, we can start it as an international project. There had bee contests in the Wikipedia of the Netherlands nl:Wikipedia:Schrijfwedstrijd, the german Wikipedia de:Wikipedia:Schreibwettbewerb and the english one en:Wikipedia:Danny's contest and as far as I could see it, it worked really good. Wikimedia Collaboration aldatu
A new attempt to get the Wikimedia community to collaborate on multi-lingual tasks is the Wikimedia Collaboration of the Week. Please see the page on meta for details. I've found volunteers to translate the site into Arabic, Italian and Spanish, and I was wanting a translator to write something in this language. The text to translate is around 300 words. - Hi. First of all, I'd like to say that Basque is not a regional language of Spain. Basque is more ancient than the existance of Spain and is there's no much relationship among Basque language and Spanish country. Basque is spoken in the Basque Country, which also includes parts of current French country. Secondly, I have to say that the link you gave doesn't work.

Perdonad que os hable en castellano, no sé euskera y no sé si todos entendéis catalán. Os pediría que revisasesi los artículos relacionados con vuestra lengua y cultura que estamos haciendo en las viquipèdia; muchas veces la fuente es la wiki española y seguro que el punto de vista es diferente. Dejad los comentarios en la página de discusión correspondiente, soy barcelona allí, iremos cambiando lo que haga falta. ¡Ánimos con esta wiki!

Hola, creia que tots ereu bilingües en castellà. Els articles són basc i país basc, que de moment són només esborranys (stubs en anglès).
Egun on Euskal Herria .Pel que veig ací enteneu la llengua catalana ,així que us parlaré en la nostra llengua amb molt de gust! .Suposo que m'haurè de dirigir a Ziberpunk ,oi que si ? .Bé ,he estat recercant (en castellà "buscando") articles sobre el català i m'he trobat amb que no n'hi ha pas cap .M'agradaria demanar-vos si us plau que en féssiu algun article (també podeu traduïr els nostres!) de la llengua catalana .Crec que també hi vaguen/falten articles sobre l'Occità i altres llengües minoritzades ,us recomano prendre-les de la viquipèdia i traduïr-les .Adeu siau a reveure Euskadi! - Bé, sí que tenim articles sobre el català Katalan, això sí, encara molt millorable. També tenim articles sobre moltes llengües minoritzades , User:Theo ha fet molt treball al respecte, si bé queda molt més per fer. There’s someone proposing a policy to close some minor, slow-growing, “hopeless” wikipedias on the wikimedia meta-wiki. (see [1]) This proposal is the enemy to the openness of the whole wikipedia community. I come here to inform you to express your opinion there. Hola, siento no poder hablar en euskara porque aún no sé, quizás algún día sepa. Soy Willtron de la Biquipedia (Wikipedia Aragonesa). Me he creado una página de usuario en vuestra Wikipedia y he creado las plantillas Template:·Hizkuntza (an-2) y Template:·Hizkuntza (ca-1), el problema es que como no sé euskara no he podido poner bien las categorías para crearlas. A ver si alguién puede hacerlo y si alguien pudiera traducir también mi página de usuario a Euskera ya sería genial (es muy corta). Muchas gracias y un saludo --Willtron 23:36, 4 Azaroa 2005 (UTC)

Portal Iberia aldatu
Hola, soy embajador de la Viquipèdia catalana. En estos últimos dias, se ha estado hablando de la posibilidad de hacer un proyecto de hermanamiento entre todas las wikipedias de idiomas hablados en la península ibérica. Los objetivos serían ayudar a las wikipedias que hacen muchas traducciones desde la wikipedia en español (las catalanas, gallega, vasca, aragonés, asturianu, etc..) y potenciar que la wikipedia en español, gracias a la intercionalidad de este idioma, sirva de plataforma para distribuir contenidos de estas wikipedias más humildes, contenidos que de otra forma no saldrían de ellas. También puede incluirse el portugués.
De momento esto es solo una idea, estoy haciendo un sondeo para ver si os interesa y que os sugeriría (si pensais que serían páginas especiales en cada wikipedia, o un portal común, etc.)

- No se realmente que utilidad puede tener esta idea. Dificilmente creo que nos pueda ayudar en algo a hacer la traduccion en vasco un portal de wikipedias del estado espanyol, de la peninsula iberica o como le querais llamar. Yo personalmente, para realizar articulos, apenas consulto la wikipedia en castellano. Normalmente solo consulto la wikipedia en castellano cuando es la fuente, esto es, para consultar temas relacionados con Castilla. Lo mismo con la wikipedia en català, asturianu, galego o demas. En general, consulto la wikipedia inglesa y luego la francesa. Si ademas se va a incluir el portugues (logico si se incluye la galega), no entiendo por que no se deberian incluir la italiana (mas proximo al català que el castellano) y la francesa, idioma que tambien dominaran parte de los contribuidores de las wikipedias vasca y catalana. Ademas, todas estas wikipedias son mas completas que la castellana. En fin, o no he entendido bien vuestra intencion, o no le veo sentido. --ziberpunk 10:44, 16 Abendua 2005 (UTC)
