English: The pine, the pub sign and the church - Zennor, near to Zennor, Cornwall, Great Britain.

Zennor was once a centre for fishing, quarrying, farming and tin mining but now only agriculture has survived.
The pub is noted for its past famous resident, the novelist D H Lawrence and his German wife Frieda who lodged there in 1916 before renting a cottage nearby. Lawrence wrote "Women in Love" during the eighteen months of their stay before being ousted for their bohemian lifestyle and there was some thought in the community that they were spies.

The carving of the Mermaid of Zennor and the memorial stone of John Davey, the last traditional speaker of the Cornish language, are at the Church of St Senara.

Zennor était autrefois un lieu de pêche, d'exploitation agricole et de carrières et d'extraction d'étain mais de ces activités seule l'agriculture a survécu.
Le pub est remarquable pour ses anciens clients, le romancier D.H. Lawrence et sa femme allemande Frieda qui y logèrent en 1916 avant de louer une ferme dans les environs. Lawrence y a écrit "Women in Love" au cours de leur séjour de dix-huit mois avant d’être rejeté par la communauté à cause de leur style de vie bohémien et des soupçons qu'ils soient des espions.

La sculpture de la Sirène de Zennor et la pierre tombale de John Davey, le dernier orateur traditionnel de la langue de Cournouailles, sont à l'église de St Senara.
