English: The atmosphere of Milan is characterized by the phenomenon of scattering, which is the dispersion of light, thanks to micro-particles. In this case, atmospheric aerosol is responsible of the phenomenon. Aerosol is composed of particulates which water condenses on. The visible consequenses have been the wonderful sunsets of last month.
Italiano: L'atmosfera milanese è caratterizzata da un fenomeno chiamato scattering, cioè la dispersione della luce da parte di microparticelle, che in questo caso sono il cosiddetto aerosol atmosferico. Intendiamo con aerosol i particolati in sospensione nell'aria attorno ai quali l'umidità tende a condensare. Le conseguenze visibili sono stati i meravigliosi tramonti del mese scorso.
