Potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, stema comunei Ozun se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat.

În partea dreaptă, în câmp albastru, se află un picior de argint, încoronat cu o coroană heraldică, cu cizmă aurie și pinten de argint, străpuns dinspre dreapta de o săgeată de argint.

În partea stângă, în câmp roșu, se află un leu de aur, rampant, ținând în laba dreaptă ridicată o săgeată de argint, iar în laba stângă un spic de grâu cu șapte boabe de aur.

Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate:

Piciorul încoronat străpuns de o săgeată reprezintă elementul principal al blazonului familiei Beldi de Ozun.

Leul ținând o săgeată reprezintă elementul principal al blazonului familiei Mikes de Zăbala.

Spicul de grâu simbolizează ocupația de bază a localnicilor, agricultura.

Cele șapte boabe ale spicului reprezintă satele componente ale comunei.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
