Some islands in Lake Pátzcuaro, photographed from the top of the Janitzio island in Michoacan, Mexico. Picture taken in the spring of 2005 by me.

Note: I do not know the names of the islands in the photograph, some one who know them should edit this summary.

La Fotografia no fue tomada en la fecha que indica la persona que supuestamente tomo esta, ya que desde el año de 1972 fue construido en su cima un monumento o estatua alusiva a "MORELOS" de mas de 30 mts de Alto; por lo que se puede observar en esta fotografia no hay ni un monumento en la isla principal de Janitzio, rodeado de las islas Yunuen y Pacanda lo cual indica que la fotografia escaneada tiene mas de 35 años de haber sido tomada

Actualización: La persona que menciona que la fotografía no fue tomada en la fecha indicada, está equivocada en dos cosas; la primera: la isla que aparece en la imagen NO es Janitzio y quien puso la fotografía claramente dice que la misma fue tomada DESDE la cima de Janitzio. La segunda: el monumento a Morelos, fue mandado a construir por Lázaro Cárdenas, quien fue presidente de 1934 a 1940, por lo cual no puedo haberse construido en 1972. To all readers:

The photograph was not taken on the date indicated by the person who supposedly took it. Since 1972 there was constructed a monument or statue alluding to "Morelos" more than 30 meters high. You can observe that in this photograph there is no such monument on the principal island of Janitzio, (something about the islands Yunuen and Pacanda omitted) indicating that the scanned photograph has more than 35 years since being taken.

Update:

The person that says that the photograph was not taken in the indicated date, is wrong: the island on the picture is NOT Janitzio (the photo was taken FROM Janitzio's top) and the monument was built during Lazaro Cardena's presidency (from 1934 to 1940); so it couldn't have been built in 1972. Here can be seen the monument and the island from the previously mentioned photo in the back: [1]
