Biografia aldatu

Gurasoak América Gutierrez eta Rafael José Díaz-Balarten zituen. Aita, Kubako politikari ospetsua izan zen, baita Banes hiriko alkatea ere.

Filosofia ikasi zuen Habanako Unibertsitatean, eta bertan ezagutu zuen Fidel Castro.^[1]^[2] Bikotea 1948an ezkondu eta urte bat geroago seme bat izan zuten, Fidel Castro Díaz-Balart. Zazpi urte geroago dibortziatu ziren, 1955ean, Castro erbestean zegoen bitartean.^[3]^[4]

Mirta 1956an ezkondu zen berriro, ordukoan Emilio Núñez Blancorekin, zeinekin Mirta Núñez alaba izan zuen.^[5]

Kubako gerrillaren garaipenarekin, familia Madrilera joan zen bizitzera.^[6] Gerora, Mirta Kubara itzuli zen.^[5]^[7]
