Historia

1961ean hasi zen jokatzen eta finalaurrekoetaraino bi partidatara erabakitzen dira kanporaketak. 1966 arte finala ere bi partidatara jokatu zen. Liverpool da Futbol Ligako Kopa gehien lortu dituen taldea.

Premier Leagueko 20 taldeek eta The Football Leagueko (2, 3 eta 4.mailak) 72 taldek hartzen dute parte. 2013ko finalean 4. mailako Bradford City aritu zen eta 1967an 3. mailan ari zen Queens Park Rangers izan zen txapelduna.

2022ko finalean 0-0 egin ondoren penalti jaurtiketak izan ziren eta Liverpool 11-10 nagusitu zitzaion Chelseari.
